The Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) emerged from a sense of responsibility towards society. It is this driving force that inspired Kumari Shibulal & S.D. Shibulal to lay the founding stone of SDF in 1999.  SDF started off on a small scale, providing scholarships to a few underprivileged students in Alappuzha, Kerala. Today, SDF is a constantly growing entity expanding its reach to various causes including education, cardiac care, pension projects, nutrition, organic farming, arts and culture, in different parts of the country.

Yakshagana Kalaranga is an organization committed to preserving and promoting the coastal Karnataka’s traditional theatre of Yakshagana. Founded in 1975, Yakshagana Kalaranga takes an integral view of the art and artistes and believes that all the activities aimed at preserving Yakshagana for the posterity should be centered around thousands of Yakshagana artistes. Towards this end Yakshagana Kalaranga provides professional and financial support to the artistes besides organizing regular Yakshagana shows, training programmes, seminars and discussions, refresher courses besides launching schemes for the financial and social security of the artistes and their families.

FoCh are a team of individuals from various professional backgrounds volunteering together to help economically disadvantaged children pursue their dream of higher education. FoCh have a strong focus on the education of the girl-child and seeing them achieve economic independence is the core element of their vision.

The distinct parameters of FoCh is Personal Mentoring: We have believed and also realised that mentoring students and spending time with them is critical to their progress. Our aim is to be much more than a funding organisation, and therefore we try to provide the students as much personal attention as possible.

Placing need ahead of marks: We have consciously not made marks a criteria for supporting a student, and focussed on the need and inclination. If there are opportunities for higher education, we try to ensure that they are fully utilised by our students, regardless of their scores.

Friends of Children (FoC) is a non – profit trust, working in Maharashtra,providing financial assistance to needy college going youth to complete their higher education. It was founded in 2003 by a group of people with a dream to lend a helping hand to society. The underlying objective was to reach out to deserving youth using education as a medium, helping them grow as strong individuals with an opportunity for a sustainable livelihood.
FoC works in the regions of Pune, Narayangaon, Ale Phata, Junnar, Manchar, Rajgurunagar, Saswad, Someshwarnagar, Ghodegaon and Sangli. Most of the villages surrounding these areas are covered by the sponsorship program. The organization is run by volunteers who have been the backbone of FoC ever since 2003.
