Dr. Sharat Airani is a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Dr. Sharat brings over 30 years of experience in IT, Cyber Security, and Leadership, having served as Global CISO and Chief-IT at Forbes Marshall. He’s also been recognized as one of India’s Most Respected CIOs.
With a PhD in Computer Science and programs from IIM-A, ISB, and NMIMS, Dr. Airani combines deep technical expertise with a passion for mentoring, education and social impact.
Venkatesan N. (Venky) is lead of resource raising team. He also coordinates with all program teams for review and successful implementation.
He also contributes technology initiatives. Venky has been with Vidya Poshak for over 15 years. He has also served as CEO. Venky is Post graduation in Computer Application (MCA) and also done Aritra Leadership Accelerator program from IIMB. Earlier he worked in IBM, Wipro and Linc Softwares for over 10 years.
Ratna Hippargi leads Admin and HR. She also supports implementation of Degital services for students.
She has worked over 18 years in Vidya Poshak and has close and intimate understanding of most of VP’s scholars.
Ratna has done Bachelor’s Degree in Arts. She has around 20+ yeas of professional working experience in Development Sector. She has worked with different NGO’s like, ISARD and Sevamob. She has also worked as a translator for the research scholars from University of British Colambia, Canada and University of Edinburg, London.
Sudhavati Ilager leads Nurture Merit Program. She is responsible for providing timely Financial Assistance to selected students.
She has now served Vidya Poshak for last 3.5 years.
Sudhavati has earlier worked as young professional in Indian Institute of pulses research center, Dharwad.
Sudhavati has Bachelor’s of Degree in Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation.
Sheela Policepatil manages accounts, Finance and Compliance at Vidya Poshak.
She has master’s Degree in Commerce.
She has five years of work experience as an accountant in Swamy Vivekananda Youth Movement and Deshpande Foundation.
Manjunath V. Tevar is leading Yuva Fellowship Program. He is responsible for the implementation of Yuva Fellowship program which is implemented in collaboration with Teach for India.
He has now served Vidya Poshak for over 5 years.
Manjunath has Bachelor’s degree in Science and B.Ed.
Annappa M. Naik is currently leading Vidya Poshak Digital Services (VDSS) and Residential Bridge camps in Vidya Poshak. His job is to help over 1300 students get various training through VDSS. He is also responsible for Managing our Vidya Poshak Community (VPC).
Annappa has been with Vidya Poshak for about 16 years.
He holds Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science
